Reporting Stat Holidays Worked

If you are eligible to receive statutory holiday pay, requests for payment can be made through RMS. All requests will be automatically forwarded in RMS to your program administrator for approval, and then for processing with Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) Support Services (formerly BCCSS).

Please refer to the HEABC/Resident Doctors of BC Collective Agreement to determine your eligibility for statutory holiday pay.

Resident Graduation certificates

The PGME Dean’s Office provides a graduation certificate to all Residents who are completing their postgraduate training. Confirmation is routinely requested from all programs on the information that should appear on these certificates.

Please note: If a request is made to add to or change a name on a Resident certificate from what is entered in RMS, proof of that name change should be sent to the PGME Dean’s Office at postgrad@postgrad.med.ubc.ca. This notification is required at least 6 weeks prior to the completion of training date.
