Health Authorities of BC Training Requirements

Before gaining access to electronic health systems used in clinical settings across the province, health authorities in B.C. require all trainees complete online training. It is the responsibility of the trainee to ensure they complete all necessary training requirements in a timely manner to avoid delayed access to health authority systems. Trainees only need to complete the training requirements for the Health Authorities they are placed in.The health authorities of B.C. will communicate with trainees by email. It is imperative you check your email regularly for instructions and updates in preparation for your time spent training in each of the health authorities.

Island Health

All Island Health training requirements are organized by the UBC Regional Office. If you are a new UBC resident, UBC visiting elective resident or out of province visiting elective, you will be contacted by this office.
