We are very pleased to announce the recipients of the 4th Annual UBC Postgraduate Faculty and Staff Wellness Award that was presented at the 12th Annual Resident Talent Night that took place on September 26th, 2019.
The UBC Postgraduate Faculty and Staff Wellness Award honours faculty and staff members in Postgraduate Medical Education who demonstrate leadership in resident wellness. All residents across the province were invited to nominate a staff or faculty member for the award. This award recognizes faculty and staff members at any site across the province who:
– display commitment to promoting and advocating for a healthy residency experience;
– consider all aspects of a resident’s well-being;
– lead by example and model wellness in daily life;
– take a leadership role in influencing the culture of wellness in their department/program.
Out of an overwhelming number of nominations, four winners were selected, and we are delighted to congratulate the individuals below for receiving this significant recognition.
